bp shooter, to answer your paint questions, there used to be a pearl paint called Flip Flop and was made by Metalflake paint co, they have since gone out of business. Now either PPG or DuPont makes a similar pearl that flips from one color to another depending on the angle of view. They have different variations but each only flips between two colors.
Another important part of a good pearl paint job is the application, the pearl needs 3 coats, one vertically, one horizontally, and one diagonally. I used to do a lot of the Flip Flop paint back in the '80s.

Used to have a '65 Chevy stepside pickup with a beautiful pearl white paint. In the sun, just right, it would shade blue in just the right spots.
Never seen another vehicle with a pearl white quite like that.
