just picked up my '06 super glide on friday with 4 miles on it and had to trailer it home due to snow. today it was nice out so i took it for my first ride, it was great until at about 25 miles the engine light and battery light came on. it didn't feel any different except at idle maybe a little rough. i'll call the dealer tomorrow but that sucks on a brand new bike. anybody else had this problem? thanks, vinny
Just for grins, check the battery connections. That sounds like they may not have tightened them up enough in the dealer and the vibrations shook one loose.
What he said , was going to same the same , good call...

Before you right off the battery connections, make sure the cables are tight not just the bolts.
The bolts could be tight and the cable can still be loose, you "might" want to pull them off and clean them to make sure there isn't any dielectric grease between the parts insulating them, and don't forget to check the other end of the cables.
It doesn't have to be loose at the battery to cause a problem.
If everything seems tight, take it for a ride, if the light comes on again, just keep going to the dealer and start yelling.
There's no way in hell that should happen on a brand new bike.
Vinnypie...I wouldn't get disturbed as it could be anything from a loose plug wire to condensation in the tank. I'd bet anything that it is something small that will take a quick fix.
