I'm reading Zen, as well as "1 percenter" that I picked up at a discount bookstore not too long ago. "1 percenter" is a pretty interesting history book about the American motorcycle culture. I never knew the image of a "biker" was so discriminated against in a lot of places back in the 50s/60s.
zen is a very difficult read but a book that people either get or they dont.people either hate it or love it .the first time thru it took me forever to read
Zen bored the hell out of me. I read about half the book and then gave it away.
Two Wheels through terror. Great story about a guy who was riding his bike through South America and was captured by rebels in Columbia. The author was featured in a episode of locked up abroad TV show too. http://www.amazon.com/Two-Wheels-Thr...6205483&sr=1-1
Are we only talking about motorcycle related books? I read "Matterhorn", a really good Viet Nam war book. And I'm currently reading "Killing Lincoln" about the assassination of President Lincoln. Written by Bill O'Reilly. It reads like a thriller.
