Thanks for the input. I agree that going 107" from a 103" doesnt seem worthwhile. But doing a stage 2 makes more sense. Ive been considering a 120, but mostly just thoughts, not overly serious yet... I am not looking to build a race motor, I like to tour so relaibility with some serious ummph is always appreciative.

My point is after that you start to hit the law of diminishing returns. Especially when you get to 110 ci or bigger. I'm just saying that by the time you spend money on a case split and subsequent modifications you might want to do the math on selling the 103 and doing a crate 120 for about $7k. My guess is it wouldn't add too much to the tab.

I'm not talking bigger than a 107". Never said anything about splitting cases either. 107" big bore, the right set of ported heads, proper cam selection, exhaust, quality tuner and upgraded throttle body and injectors. Still numbers matching and still reliable.
