17 years this past November 4th. Wife and I have been together 20 years total, since she was 16 and I was 19. We did go on a honeymoon to the Cayman Islands for 2 weeks. Back in 1989 it was a quiet scuba dive island and was a great place for diving. We even met Emmerson Fitipaldi there as he was there with his wife.
48 years!!!!!!! Best thing I ever did. We were living in Michigan at the time and money was thin. Went to Tequamine Falls in the U.P. for our honeymoon.
This Dec 14th will be 13 years for us. We got married when I was still in the fleet. My folks couldnt make the wedding due to health reasons. So my wife and I flew to CT on our wedding night and had our "honeymoon" there so she could meet my folks lol.
It was a good time overall. I got to go home for a bit, and she got to meet the family and get a weeks dose of New England. That was her first time seeing lots of snow and got to go tobogganing too - she loved it, she is from Mobile AL.
27 years, only wife. We didn't go, couldn't afford it. Finally made up for it this year, we went to Hawaii. Lots of ups and downs, currently on an up so life is good. When it's good it's real good, when it's bad it's real bad. For the most part we've had a lot more ups than downs though. According to her i'm always the cause of the downs, go figure. She really is the better half.

35 wonderful years as of Dec. 4th, went to DisneyLand for the honeymoon cause I had to pick up my bike at the docks as it was shipped back from overseas. Road down into Mexico for a few days then back to El Paso till I got out of the Army a few months later. Ah those were the days! Thanks for bringing back some great memories..

Married in 83,no real honeymoon. Divorced and remarried same girl.We were apart about a year,I ****ed it up,and am a lucky SOB to have returned to girl who never throws it in my face.
It was 30 yrs for hubby and me last July. We didn't have much when we started out and couldn't afford to 'moon' it. When our daughter was about 10 months old, hubby had 2 wks vacation from work, so we packed up our little Toyota, while Gramma and Grampa looked after our little angel. She was such a good baby and it was tearing us up to leave her. She was just on the verge of walking around that time, and we were worried she would take her first steps when we weren't there. We lasted 2 days. Couldn't stand it, turned around and came back home. Thennnn....that little "so and so" didn't walk until she was 13 months!
That was our 1st honeymoon!
Then on the same day as our 18th Anniversary, Hubby and I renewed our vows on a cruise ship in Ft.Lauderdale. We had married when we were 18 and had been married for 18 years...so at that point had been married exactly 1/2 of our lives. Now THAT was a honeymoon! I have to admit, it was even better than our 1st. No fuss, no muss...just us... a J.P. and a camera man (and his wife). It was b e a u t i f u l! We both cried. The JP cried. Even the camera man teared up and his wife was balling! Wow...it still even now makes me tear up. Speaking of that SOB... Where is that he now?...Pffftt... Gone to work ..... I need to give him a hug!
