Default Cheap Apes

I'm looking for some ape hangers for my wide glide, and I have seen some really inexpensive bars on ebay, does anyone know about these?
The last time I bought bars was for a Road King and I went with Chubby's they were about $200 at the time.

My feeling is that you get what you pay for. Stick with the known companies and you will hardly ever go wrong. I have Yaffee bagger bars on my SG.

I've got 16" Chubbies that I'm real happy with. You might check out J&P. Kromewerks also has some decent prices...

My first apes on my old bike cost $40. Internally wired and great looking. Worked great and looked great too.

The ones are ebay dont look that bad. Most of them are from a decent company and not some dude out of his house.

i'm putting these on this weekend. Internal wiring with already fished pull cables. 1 1/4" thick except clamp and grip area (i have an '02 with 1" bars unlike your '06) and they look awesome. beefy with a nice taper from bottom to top and a strong stance (not too swoopy on the curves or completely quare)

Santee has some reasonable prices, had good luck with both regular and bagger styles.

I run the Santee 1 1/4" bars in 14" and like them a lot. They are internal wire only and are not dimpled.

I recommend and use Paughco bars. No complaints. Not over priced, great chrome and quality bars.
