I have a Vega 1/2 helmet for most of my riding, a full-faced for those longer trips on the Interstate where the drivers seem to be a little more nuts (and to keep the wifey happy).
SoCal. A Shoei RF-1000 because I refuse to run a windshield and at the speeds we can run, wind and object (including bugs) protection is a must. Easier on the ears, too.
I've got a Fulmer Modulus full-face with the flip-up face. I really liked the design, I like the modular feature, and the price was right. Of course, I feel that you can't put a price on keeping your cranium safe (just my $.02), so I'll do what I gotta to ride full-face year round. When I can afford a nicer helmet, I'll probably look into a Shoei or Harley modular helmet that has better airflow than my Fulmer. It's comfy, but it does get a little warm at times.
I wear a 1/2 helmet when the temps are above 50 and a full face Shoei X-11 when the
temps are below 50. I prefer the visibility of the half helmet, but I like the warmth of the
full face when it's chilly. I'm looking forward to spring and switching back to the 1/2 helmet
and my Panoptix day/night sunglasses.
