I can't believe it,I'm near Chicago,it's 6:10am and 45degrees out! Time to hit the road.I will never store my snortster at a facility,to many good suprise ridin days!
Hey Milt - I'm in Chicago as well, so I know what you mean. However, be sure to wash your bike when you're done! All the salt and ice melt crap on the roads will eat through your bike in no time!!! There's still plenty of unexpected ice out there and the cagers are NOT expecting to see a bike on the road right now. Have fun but be careful!
46 right now in Boston at 8:30am. Supposed to be in the 50's on Sat and close
to 60 on Sunday! Can't beat that for mid December. I rode last weekend and
the rodes were nice and clear of salt until I hit one town and it looked like
snow on the ground there was so much salt. Washed the bike and all was good.
The downside to riding this time of year is you can spend almost as much time
washing the bike after you ride to get the salt off as you do riding.
