I spent 2 days at Yellowstone....not nearly enough time, unless you just ride through and catch the main sights. If you want to really "do" it, take minimum 4 days and get off the scoot and take a hike. You won't regret it. The same with Glacier Park. They are both fantastic to ride, but when you stop and climb a hill and take a good look around, you'll find yourself taking a longer breather than you planned for. Enjoy the trip. And take lots of cards for your camera...and extra batteries.
Just a little tale of my trip through Yellowstone last summer. entered the east gate, traveled anticlockwise....strayed from my planned route and found myself at the summit as the sun went down. Next to ZERO traffic for the rest of the ride. As I started my descent, the sky was absolutely clear, millions of stars......and it was RAINING! Out of a clear black sky! But there were thunderstorms off to the east, so I think the wind was blowing it up the mountain right on to me. I could see the lightning flashing in the clouds in the distance....and it was F#%@$%in' AWESOME!!!!!
I was in Glacier late September 2011. Thought I would stay 2 days and check it out. Stayed 2 weeks. Only left because they closed the camp ground for the winter. Hated to leave.

We went from Montana going through Bear Tooth Pass and then rode Yellowstone for rest of the day then into Cody, Wyoming.
When we go back out there again we will take more time for Yellowstone.
We also did Northern Glacier Pass and I don't have much to say bout it. By the time we got to the top it was drizzling and and so foggy you couldn't see more than a car length ahead of you. From the scenery I got to see a little bit it was a nice view.
