I'm going to give it to the Nj State Police .....I've never been bothered by them. I'm not the most normal looking biker and I'd probably pull me over once in a while just for ***** and giggles. I've blown by their hiding places on the parkway numerous times . Not on purpose either. They have some good observation posts. Never have they come out to take me down. For what it's worth after I see them I do back it down. But if there are any njsp out there much appreciated! The whole 1 % thing is way overblown. Their no better no worse than most of us. There is 99% of other stuff to attend to out there.
It amazes me that someone in charge of training would not proof read this document. I am not even close to being part of the grammar police, but it still amazes me to see so many mistakes in grammar and spelling.
There is nothing in this that a high school student could not have written with some help from Wikipedia. In fact it reads like a high school student created it.
Where are the facts and figures?
- Percentage OMG members currently incarcerated?
- Percentage OMG members on probation?
- Percentage OMG members with prior criminal activity?
- breakdown/breakout of criminal activities by location and gang
- estimated financial values of criminal activities
- cost of policing OMGs, is it cost effective?
- etc.
Not sure who the target audience is but I feel like I can get more information on biker gangs from reading the news paper, news magazines like Time, and watching the evening news than from reading this.
