I want to modify my air filter and housing and I've gotten 3-4 different opinions from HD techs. The one who talked the most sense recommends the big sucka...with a K&N filter. What do you guys think?

The big sucker does not use a true K&N filter. It has a copy made by a company called airaid. As for the big sucker itself, I am not a fan of its design and quality. It comes with a reasonable price tag though.

 

I put a Ness Big Sucker on my '06 FI Standard...I re-used my stock A/C cover and visually you can't tell the difference. I was happy with the quality of the filter element and the install was fall-off-a-log easy IMO...and the price is better than the Screaming Eagle. All good here.

 

Happy with mine so far. Let you know how she works when I'm done with the 95"

 

I put the Ness Big Sucker on and I like it. The best part is no more oil spraying all over the engine like the SE.
