Am I a defector?
I signed up for a Victory motorcycle ride to get a chance to win a ride with R Lee Ermy. The ad says you ride with him, the fine print says it's a meet and greet plus a week at Daytona FOR ONE! I'm not planning on taking the Victory for a ride but it would be neat to win and meet The Gunny.

He played one of the best drill Sergeants ever.
Met him many times over the years. All a Marine needs to do is introduce himself as such and BINGO!, all of a sudden we have priority over everyone else, including family and especially nasty, civilians.

That's Drill Instructor, civilian, and he wasn't playing. He was an actual D.I. in the Corps.
