I've lived all over California: Bay Area (Orinda & Benicia), Sacramento (Sutter Creek and worked in Elk Grove), L.A. (All over) and in 35 years have never had an issue with noise or speed . . . and my bikes have not been exactly quiet and I generally try and stay ahead of 99% of the other traffic. So I've either been extremely lucky or this is a pretty good place to live and ride.

Lived her since birth (1947) and riding since I was 15-1/2. Never had a problem even in my younger days.

Alright enough with the sunburn jokes it is February ya know...BTW I live in Ma and taxes and insurance are $$$$ here as well.

Coming up the 15 the air was so clear the mountains looked like they were just a mile away...was so hard to get off the freeway and go to work with them calling like that knowing it's going to be a beautiful riding day.

That's good chit right there...god I love California. Will hang out there often and ride all over when I retire...and some before. Have relatives from Anaheim down to San Diego. Love hanging out in in Sacramento/wine country area. Last time out there went to see the redwoods...simply awesome. Glad to hear the cops are cool.
