Of course, I had my bike out just a week or so ago. It was freezing cold, and I had to cheat by pulling out my full face helmet, a couple pairs of gloves, the long johns... -Yeah, the list goes on- But at least I got to ride! By the time a few hours had gone by the weather even warmed up enough to where the frost burned off the grass, and I could stop massaging my fingers.
Spring can't get here fast enough!
Done that before.... gotta do what ya gotta do right!!
I used to get crazy about not being able to ride in the winter. Even had snowmobile gloves to I could go out on cold days, and no I did not own a snowmobile. Now I can ride year-round, but my insurance has doubled as well since the riding season has doubled. Oh well, ya pay the dues for the life ya chose.
Exactly right! I can't be away from something I love. Of course that pic has me thinking in an entirely different direction... beaches... sand... warm weather, and bikinis...
Is that picture making you think of melanoma or basil cell skin cancer? I know it is me. NOT!! Haven't been on the bike since Thanksgiving, just a few more weeks and they will be back on the road.
i'm joining the riding depression train here. Got my first bike ever, my Softail, in August last year. Put 2500 miles on it between then and when I put'er away at the first snow we got the first week of November. Going crazy over here cuz I wanna ride - especially since we've had SOOO many warm days this winter, it's been highly unusual. Not really complaining though, since I hate shoveling, and there won't be that much salt/sand on the roads to try to kill me.
