Default 2012 FLTRX problem

Anybody run into this last Friday 2-10-12 the dealer was delivering my 2012 FLTRX denim black The front fender and the right saddle bag looked like they had a paint blem in the clear coat a dark spot size of a quarter The front fender also had a small scratch in the clear coat from someone and a tool that’s a different problem. Left saddle bag lid had a dirt bump in the clear coat and what looked like a molding mark in the outside lip of the cover. The outer fairing had a series of small marks under the clear coat that might be in the fairing itself so I sent the bike back to the dealer .Today the dealer told me they had their paint expert ie body man looking at the problem. I asked what he was going to do as a repaint was not a acceptable solution

Sounds like you went over the bike with a fine tooth comb - good on you. I'd say it was painted on a Friday at "beer-o'clock."

actually, contrary to popular belief, yes, it does have a clear coat on it. it just has a flattening agent in it.

Repaint not an option. What else is there? New part with paint?
