You guys are lucky, here in Brisbane, Australia, where i'm living, we pay $6.65 per US gallon, thats around $1.60 per liter. Thats for the 98 stuff that we keep getting told to put in the Harley's. It hurts each time you fill up, specially when you know the gov't gets about $1.50-$2 per gallon in tax, rough estimate, probably more.

I'm not saying there's a connection but last time gas went up over $5.00/gallon, in 2008, the economy crashed that Fall. Probably no connection...I hope.

Anywhere from $4.00-$4.25 for 91 around here.I bet this morning it will be higher.

I did that last year when gas was getting high again. Traded the F-150 which I didn't need anymore for a 4 cyl Jeep. Every time I make a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot for the never ending projects my wife seems to "need" done for the house, I really miss the truck. Every time I fill up though, that feeling goes away.

You are dreaming if you think that Obama will reduce the price of oil....he has said multiple times he wants $7/gallon gas so solar power seems cheap.
