There are a few tuners on the market with auto tune modules. I'm not familiar with the one you posted but I'm running the ThunderMax with auto tune and one of the reasons I went with it was so I wouldn't need to dyno the bike every time I made a change. I love the way it makes my bike run and the more I ride it the better the tune gets.

It involves replacing the ECM and O2 sensors with wideband ones. Difficulty depends on the bike you have. On some bikes the ECM is easy to get to, but on my Dyna I had to do a bit of modding to the fusebox with a Dremel. It was all in the instructions and a little intimidating at first but if I can do it, anybody can. Probably took me a couple of hours (the next one will be quicker, lol), so that should give you an idea in case you want to have a dealer or indy install it.
A computer is needed to install the map and see how the tuning process is going, and for making changes if needed. Once it's set up there's not much to do but ride. On most true tuners that I've seen you will need a laptop or computer.
I looked on the Accel site and couldn't find a good description on how it really works and how much flexibility it has. Accel is also selling it for less than the ebay vendor.
It might be a good product but I would want to hear some real feedback on it from other riders before shelling out $400.
They are the best thing since sliced bread.I speak for S&S's IST ignition. With this ignition you can literally change anything in the motor including induction and exhaust and the ignition adjusts the timing and curve to make it work. Also if you had to use different octane fuel it adjusts and it learns your driving habits to give you optimum spark curve all the while keeping the motor from spark knock.
