Mounted two mini guns to the lower tree powered with lasers via an onboard computer that detects 4-legged. Now I ride at night no worries. Only bad thing about it is remembering to turn it off before getting close to the neighborhood. *chuckles
I caught an owl to handlebars and then the chest just as it was starting to get dark one evening at the end of last spring; I was probably going about 40-50. F that. I thought someone shot me with a cannonball covered in feathers... The worst part was that with my hands up high like they are, the bastard was caught on me for a minute. Eventually he set himself free (in reality, probably only there for 1.5 seconds but it still freaked me the hell out) and then I pulled over to the side of the road, caught my breath (knocked the wind out of me) and then jumped around like a little girl trying to get all the fethers out of my zippers and stuff. I looked back at the bike and then realised he hit me so hard it pulled my apes back a good 10 inches and my headlight was a little crooked. I have plans on getting a windshield very soon; damn are they expensive though.

My riding buddy hit a deer and a large dog. Deer about took out front end. Shattered fairing and bent or broke just about everything else. He was able to limp the bike home and didnt go down from impact.
The dog he just clipped with front fender and right crash bar. fender was mangled and crash bar bent back into floor board and brake lever. He managed to stay up on that one too.
We're kinda lucky in a way here in Ca. Aside from some bugs the occasional cat or dog the wild life you have watch for around around here carry guns and they are easy to spot from a distance holding their pants up like they do .
I was going to hold back on this one, didn't think anyone would believe it anyway, but it is true, so what the hell. Was riding a 3 wheel ATV somewhere north of Phoenix, not worried about anything, 'cept maybe a drunk in a pickup, and a pair of boots went left to right a few feet in front of my face, with a young lady on top of them. She was frantically trying to dump air before she hit the ground right in front of a mesquite tree (if I'm remembering the name right, lots of thorns anyway) and the parachute draped over the tree, ruining it. Stopped and talked with her till the diving club truck got there; the owner was really pissed she put his parachute in a thorn tree. Never saw the other divers, she somehow got a long ways from them; they landed on a dirt airstrip about a quarter mile away. Wonder if I'd have set a record if I'd hit a skydiver while she was still in the air. Came close.
