Was it tuned up, let's say on the D & D, then changed to the Pro-pipe without retweaking the tune? Or was the bike retuned each time the pipes were changed making for a level playing field?
give the dyno guy some credit. i doubt even a bad technician would do that.

The bike was retuned for the pipe.

Welp...after looking at the dyno chart I feel MORE than vindicated in my decision to swap out the FC for the PP. I gave up 4 peak hp and 5 peak tq but gained 15ftlb & 8hp up to 3k where the FC always felt weak. I'm happy!

Damn, it beats it up right in the heart of my riding range! Just what I needed, something else to think about.
You'll notice that 15lbs. in the low end vs. That few at the peak. I actually had some guys on the Dtna forum the other day trying to justify a 2-2 over a 2-1. They were trying to say that you would never feel the power difference and the two bikes would be even in a race. This shows how different two different 2-1 pipes can be, and they are both better than a 2-2.

I always felt that my bike with the FatCat never really pulled in the low rpm's especially riding 2 up. Kind of a pita at stop lights in town. I think you're right about feeling the difference where the Propipe is stronger.
I guess I'm looking at the results a little differently. The point of doing performance mods is to see improvement when you twist the throttle to accelerate. Between 3-4.5K RPM's, the D&D is clearly the better performing pipe.
