In the 60's here today which is only cool for Florida, but very windy. I just stayed home and did the turbo tax thing. Glad it's done.

30 here salt and a dusting of snow on the ground. Only one thing to say to you. I hate you and I'm jealous. Period.

It was beautiful weather for riding today here in Arkansas. To bad I'm out on a drilling rig during it. Guess I gotta pay for my bike somehow.

Default wussed out

It was 61 today, so I thought the wife and I would ride about an hour to a local lake and back. The first five miles, the wind was wicked and then the gust were worse. It was blowing me halfway across the lane. So I wussed out, turned around and came back. (I could feel her tensing on my shoulders anyway) Checked the weather after I was parked and discovered a wind advisory with 45 mph gust. I should have checked before I left.

Just got back from a ride down Highway 1 from Santa Cruz to Big Sur for lunch at the River Inn. Weather was perfect (75 degrees) and the scenery was incredible!!

Thought it was done here last week. Blue sky, sunshine, average of 15 C all week up to yesterday. Woke this morning and it's -1 and snowing.

Dagnabit!!!

I put the bike back on the road here in Manchester, UK last Friday 2nd March, but the local council have decided to throw salt on the road again after it got a bit cold last night. Its down for rain day after tommorow and then warm and sunny. Il be back on the road then, its a hickup, but at least I got out on Friday evening with the wife after work. Sad thing was I had to ride past one of the HD dealerships that had closed last year. Its all boarded up with the HD flags still flying.
Despite that had a nice first ride into the country through the lanes, stopped off in a little village and bought some fish and chips and a cup of tea to warm us up, before heading back. Roll on summer.

Too funny; I did the same damn thing. Changed my fluids on Saturday, and hit the Mother Road on Sunday. Too cool...
