Hi,
I'm buying some Fatbob pipes that have Vance & Hines 3" slash cut slipons.
I'm wondering if I wanted to change the baffles (to make it quieter) if I'm limited to using Vance & Hines replacement baffles of can I use Rush or other replacements.
And, while I'm at it, I'm looking to get a Screamin' Eagle sound, not too loud, and wondering if anyone knows a baffle that might help me with that. I know, I could replace the slipons but hoping I can attain that with changing the baffles....maybe a Rush 1.75"?....if they fit?
I appreciate the help.
Steve
I'm bumping as I need an answer asap because the pipes that I'm talking about are on ebay and the auction is about to end. Can I replace the baffles in the V&H Slipons with something other than V&H because I don't think their quiet baffles are very quiet.
