I opted for the No-Mar changer myself. Zip Zip, off on.

I just paid $236 bucks for a front and rear tire from D.K. for my 09 Fatboy. My last rear tire from a local dealer cost me $250. I won't do that again.

Before moving here I bought the wife's sporty a set of Avons. Sent free to our mainland address so I threw them in the cargo container. Now I am sure the shipping will be outrageous. I will probibly get tires from the indy here since they get discounted shipping rates.

Thanks Tom for the URL to the Rocky Mountain ATV place. Seems their tire prices are much easier to handle than they are up here. I have the what I assume are the factory dunlops on her now but the the avons should do just fine. JnP want me to join a club and I'm somewhat bias against aftermarket parts other than Harley, bought a lot out of the local american dealership so far , but I didn't know that JnP accept paypal and thats a good thing...
There is a local guy here in Whoville BC who's got better equipment than the local dealer up here, so thats great and I'll be happy to help him pay for his equipment, since the local dealer up here is over a highway hour away and at 1.27 a litre for gas that adds another 75 bucks to the bill just to trailer the bike.

This is minor but last year wife was looking at some baby clothes for the newest grandson. She found a 2-pack of bibs which had some cute saying on them. Except someone had stolen one of the bibs. So we had a price for both of them on the sticker - $16.00 - but only 1 bib in the package.

She asks the sales girl since there was only 1 bib in the package could we get a discount. Girl says she'll check with the lady owner of the shop. She comes back a few minutes later & says the lady said she'd give us 10% off the price. I know they paid the same price for the 2-pack but it's not my fault that someone stole one of them.

We left the package hanging on the rack.

Its the same all over, I did a web search and found the cheepest I could get a front tyre for my Fatty was Ł154 ( about $300 ish ). I contacted my local dealer and he quoted Ł285 + Ł50 fitting ( about $660 ish ), I nearly choked and actualy swore, I then pressed the dealer who brought it down to Ł200 ($400, ish), including fitting. I then asked him to price match with the web price and he came back with Ł151 ($300 ish) including fitting.
What gets me is the tyre had to be ordered in, not from Europe but the Factory in the USA.
How the hell do these prices get worked out considering the above.

I buy mine from Jake Wilson and mount them myself. Can't get any cheaper than that.
