Well I hadn't swung a leg over the bike since early October....stupid Canadian winters. Anyhow it has been warming up and the snow has been melting, there is still some around but roads are dry. It warmed up to a toasty 45*F today put the plates back on the bike, and went for a ride, t-shirt, sweater, spring jacket, then leather jacket, wore my 3/4 helmet and a bandana over my face, wasn't out on the hiway very long, that was chilly. Felt good to get out and on the bike again.
Lucky devil.
I'm holding out until the beginning of April before I take mine out of dealership storage. Hopefully the sand will be mostly washed off the roads by then. But for that to happen we need some rain!
So in the meantime I gave myself a goal of working every day this month in order to make massive dough via overtime pay to pay for some extra goodies to buy for this riding season :-D
It felt soooo good, by the looks of the long term forecast I probably jumped the gun, and there is still a **** pile of gravel on the streets will most likely be a good 2-3 weeks before I can do any real riding, unless I want to strap on the snowmobile gear.
Been unusually warm here in North East Montana this week so I got to putt over 300 miles in about four days. I'm feelin for you guys who still have a way to go before it warms up enough to get some good rides in.

We will be riding through your neck of the woods in early June, will come down in ND, then over into Montana into Billings on our way into the Yellow Stone area, should be a great 5 days.
