If you want to ride aggressively and yet have a cruiser on the ride home...Try a Victory Vision...

Lean angle is crazy far over FOR A CRUISER, I can only drag the floorboards on the Dragon on a few of the switchbacks. It handles kind of like a sportbike...Don't really know as I would kill myself on a sportbike ( I like them triple digit speeds TOO MUCH)

A Vision handles quite well for such a large motorcycle. Can easily run in the mid 60's to 70's on Cherohala Skyway and a buddy of mine (x-hyabusa owner) kept up with 2 sportbikes on the Dragon for at least 4 to 5 miles of it, and only crossed the center line once, it was close to the NC state line...

You mean we aren't suppose to ride like this? I thought that was the WHOLE PURPOSE!!!! Ride it like you stole it!!!

Im the prez, so when I ride with the chapter, i tell them Ill keep it around 75, they usually come back with ya right, but ya keep the same speed in the corners....LOL.
One young guy has a new Stret bob, we both have stage one, he has cams, so he pulls me a little on the straights, so I took him on a nice curvy road by the lake on the way to La Grange, after two corners, I lost sight of him....
After we got to the destination, I told him, you may get the old man on the straight, but Ill kick your *** on the corners....
Now dont get me wrong, sometimes I take it easy and enjoy the view....sometimes..!!
You are correct, age has got nothing to do with speed or ability. There is a guy that lives in my town and he was the gn flat track racer that got thrown thru the fence in the movie On Any Sunday, Keith Mashburn he has got to be in his 60's, and that dude can fly.

I'm a sport bike rider first & foremost, so it took me a long time to buy a HD. Only reason I did was license preservation. Biggest reason I went with a Dyna was handling. I ordered Progressive shocks & a True Track before I ever took possession on my 'Bob.

I got back from riding all day about an hour ago.I saw no less then a dozen law enforcement sitting around waiting or gunning the roads here. I had one go past me in the opposite direction and slam his brakes on to turn around but didn't. I need my license to work and won't gamble it away on getting tickets. I haven't got a ticket in thirty years and not about to risk getting on my scoot.

Old cop buddy in the midwest told me that's a favorite tactic for country cops , they'll do a brake check as they pass someone and watch to see if you'll hit your brakes , run or anything gets thrown . Says a lotta idiots fall for it too .

Amen to that brother! That's the beauty of riding a Harley. A little intentional grindage on the boards during some hardcore cornering gets the blood pumpin'. You don't have to ride over 100 mph to keep the ride interesting. Have fun and ride safe!

I'm 71 & ride local twisties pretty aggressively, like there's no tomorrow if you catch my drift. Actually I seem to be getting on it more since I got my Rush's, love to hear 'em talk to me!
