My dad had a HP sticker in his truck ( witch he didn't really need ) he asked me to go to the store with him, I was to drive. When we got to the store the lot was full so he instructed me to park up front. I said no that I had more pride than that, if he wanted I would let him off out front and meet him inside but I wasn't parking in a handicapped spot, besides a little walk never hurt anyone. He smiled said that's OK he would walk with me, when we parked he took the sticker off and put in the glove compartment and said I guess I won't need that anymore.

You know when a street department has to do any digging they pile the dirt to the traffic flow side of the hole. It was in the late '60's and I was driving a plumbing supply truck. I was right behind a geezer who, whap, ran down the Barricade then whump, stopped his Falcon on top of a six foot pile of dirt. He centered that car, all four wheels spinning in the air. The road crew was not amused.
