Oregon.

Proof of insurance upon registration.
Emission testing required in some areas.

The State of Oregon fuel tax rates:
Gasoline and all other fuels used in a motor vehicle $.30 per gallon

some cities add an additional $.01 to $.03 per gallon

Registration + gas tax. No inspection in FL and insurance is not required here on motorcycles (but I carry it).

Crap, this stuff adds up! Don't get me started on toll roads, bridge crossing fees and gasoline tax....

What state do you live in?

Here in taxachusetts we have to pay 6.25% of the cot of the bike for sales tax. Insurance is a must, max if carrying a loan. Then every year we have to pay excise tax to the town. This covers the cost of repairs to the streets. they get us on every level.

It would be hard to find a place where it's more expensive to own and operate a Harley than the PRK.

No Inspections however...................................yet. Please don't give the clowns in Sacramento another way to get at our money
