It is supposed to be on the lowest point of the bike that you can hang it from. On my Sporty it was hung from the frame in the front of the bike under the voltage regulator.

I don't have one on my new bike yet....no one has bought me one yet.
You've got to be kidding!!! Somebody buy this girl a bell!

Betcha if she posted an address she'd have more bells than her bike could carry.

I have mine mounter on the frame support in front of the motor behind the triple tree. It's mounted with a small clip to keep it far away from the fender.

I was given a bell with a skull since I like skulls. Didn't want to hide it so I drilled a small hole in the bottom of my horn cover.

I hang mine on the cables near my right grip because that is where my child (who bought it for me) placed it. It also reminds me that they were once given as gifts to good Samaritans at bike rallies years ago. When I see someone on the side of the road in need of help, my bell is usually the first thing that catches my eye. When the brain says "you don't have the time to stop" or, "someone else will stop" the bell tells me that I am that "someone else." That's why I call it my "Samaritan bell."
