I make sure I always back into any parking space. This works may calf mussles. Afterwards I turn the handls bars 3 times to the right and left to complete my upper body work out!

I do find myself eating less and riding more......

Working out at the gym to make it a bit easier to throw around the 800+ lb bike...

So in the end, motorcyling is good for the body... but most importantly... Great for the spirit!!!!

Ride on

It is a little exercise. Hanging on when you go past 80 and the wind pressure gets harder, pushing the bike in and out of the garage to wash it and stuff - all that does a little. But it would need to be a lot more to be of any real benefit.

I used to play quite a bit of golf a few years ago. Anyway the wife would always say "you should walk instead of renting a cart and get some exercise"....my reply was "i get plenty of exercise pushing my foot up and down on the gas pedal and the break"......I've hit all time lows for laziness. On the bright side, I cut Mountain Dew(6 cans a day-easy for years) out of my diet and switched to diet coke and have dropped about 25 pounds in 3 months....still eat like crap and drink too many beers and jack/cokesbut hey, gotta enjoy something!!!!!!!!

Is my newest bike (June, first in 5 yrs) the reason my arms and lats have gotten firm and I dare say bigger in the past several months? I crank this bike through the hills and curves like a bat out of hell, always leaning bike or body or both. Any new/retuning bikers notice this?

*edit* cmon, don't let the signature scare ya
Sure ... I put my Ultra on the lift .... and bench press it. 10 reps twice a week. I'm ripped!

No, motorcycles only have theraputic value for your peace of mind.

Although I do know a bunch of riders who claim you must excercize prior to going on a long distance ride so you can handle the stress.

Bushwah !!

Unless you are dropping them every 5 miles riding a Harley is like sitting in a comfortable chair all day.
