...Not much you can do except wait it out on a 2 lane road.
4 lane I just get over
Exactly what I do, Think you folks who want to drop $**** in the roadway to purposely ***** up another car or slow down to get the jerk behind you pissed off are part of the problem and not the solution.
And having a piece at the ready position because some a$$hole cager is riding your rear...sorry but get real Billy Bad ***
2 lane blacktop can be a problem (although in Texas you can ride the shoulder to let someone pass...got some big thank yous from folks riding through that state...great state and great people... would move there if I could convince my wife). Other than that I pull to the next lane and just let the person pass.
And if need be and you want to stay in the lane drive faster...seems like a simple solution without getting your panties bunched.

I'm probably the only one with this problem on this site but how do you deal with a tailgaters. I drive the speed limits or just a little over but what or how do you deal with these jerks. I drive a medium but larger truck for work so I know to slow down enough to make them pass and if they run into the back, tough crap. This of course can have bad results for a guy on a bike. I hate pulling off to the side or some other evasive manuver.
I have a summer mesh jacket that is Hi Vis yellow. Find when I wear it no one tailgates and other drivers leave more room. I'm thinking it must have a physiological effect on other drivers or they confuse me with road workers or police (police also wear hi vis here) and try and stay clear.
That is the only answer. Else you are thinking about the tailgater taking away your own concentration/ enjoyment plus the brakes on the car do not stop as short as on a bike...so don't brake check either.
As for ball bearing....dash cameras.
Lastly, don't give the "finger".
So let them pass...end the road rage.

I have never thrown anything back at someone and would think that could get you ran over. Or cause an accident that hurts someone else other than the peckerhead tailgating you.
