Default E-ZPass Mounting

They recommend on inside of windsheild, not very pretty. Before it was purchased I thought I could mount under front fairing. Any help here would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It is probably the same thing as a Sunpass.

It's the equivalent of the Florida "SunPass" toll paying transmitter.

Does it have any wires? If not, what would happen if you just stuck it in your pocket?

I just put it in my pocket when I need it. Couldn't stand to see it mounted somewhere, not in my truck and not on the bike. Too bad they changed them, the originals could be mounted behind the front bumper.

Place it in your left saddle bag. Use the velcro that comes with it and place it on the top of the bag. Works fine every time. Some people also place it inside their fairing up toward the front. The sensors read through the fairing and the hard bags with no problem.

Ride safe,

You said something about fairing mounting, so I'm assuming you have a bagger. I'm not sure exactly how they handle it, but just make sure your bike is registered to carry the ez pass also and then just throw it in a saddle bag. So even if it doesn't go off they don't go sending you a ticket.

I don't bother to mount mine at all, just keep it in my jacket. Sometimes I don't bother to carry it at all. As long as you register your tags to your account you'll be billed through your license plate number.

I just got an EZ Pass in MA. Haven't used it yet, but I'm going to try putting it under the lid of my left saddle bag. Hopefully it works. If not, maybe in the windshield pouch. I got it to avoid having to stop in the slick, oily toll both lanes. Can't wait to be able to just cruise through.
