When I lived in NC, yes, absolutely satisified. Delaer and staff were awesome. Since moving to CA, not so much. They lack the personal touch the NC delaer had. Noone in CA seems interested in helping. They are just there to process the paperwork if you want to buy a bike or ring up accessories for you. That's abou it.
The sad thing is that so many dealers have a decent owner, and a friendly sales staff, but such a poor service department. My local dealer puts a great looking blond bitch behind the service window, and she spends more thanhalf her time explaining (lieing) about why the teenage techs can't fix your bike. Funny thing is that most of the local RUBs don't seem to mind. They are just vain enough to think they might score with the window chick. The repair bill just keeps climbing! Life is expensive for the horny and the stupid.
I'm pretty happy with my local dealer. I've taken the bike in for work, and everyone was courteous, seemed knowlegable. The tech working on mine took me back to the shop to show me what he was doing, and why when I had questions.
The store Mgr knows me,even asks how my wife's doing when I go in,(she's been seriously ill). That makes points with me.
Now, having said that, I have found an ex-Harley mech who is now a teacher, but still works on bikes out of his own shop for far less than dealer prices,......I'm loyal to a point,...but I ain't stupid !

I am very satisfied with my dealer, HD of Montgomery, AL. I ordered a set of Metzlers and Progressive 412's on-line and the service department had no qualms about installing them at my 10K service and for not the normal hourly rate as they simply combined it in with the other parts of the service for a nominal extra charge. They also went to bat for me with my 05' FXDL vibration problem to the point of getting the regional rep for HD to test ride the bike and then swapping the engine for a new one (2500 miles). Both the clothing sales girls and the service reps know you by name and indulge me with the questions I raise about issues I read about on this forum..
