OK so my 07 FXST started to cut out consistantly going down the freeway today and sometimes even dies at a light. Threw a code. Fuel filter only 10,000 miles on it. TPS is ok. Not sure if I should start throwing parts at it or not. If I do I'll get a crank sensor (no shavings on it), MAP sensor, and a fuel pressure regulator. Any thoughts! I have a PV to read the codes and check condition of TPS. 07 FXST 105,792 miles.
If the bike is showing just the one code (po107) then replace the map sensor only and you should be good to go. My bike did the same thing about 3 years ago...I replaced the map sensor and all has been good since.

Thanks! Thats good to here. What were your symptoms?
Exactly same as the ones you have described...cutting out and would sometimes die if I let go of the throttle. I was 45 miles away from home at the time but made it going about 45mph or so.
Ok replaced the cam sensor and MAP sensor and didnt fix it. Turns out got some advice on the forum that those sensors have a 5v signal voltage and a good ground is critical. Sure enough the ground was fuzzy and coroded. Didnt follow my rule about 90% of elec issues are a bad ground. Thanks agian!
