I purchased an HD tour pack from Jenni at Benji's HD in Virginia. She will sell for retail minus 20%, no sales tax outside of Virginia, plus shipping. Phone orders accepted. Research the parts that you need and give her a call for a price quote (304-523-1340).
Go to Customcyclegear.com. They sell a tour pack that includes a backrest for about $110. It's offered in a number of Harley colors. I have had one in vivid black for about a year and a half and it's excellent for my purposes. It is plenty large; holds two full face helmets to give you an idea of its volume. I mounted mine on a solo detachable rack and only put it on the bike for trips.
The website shows the pack mounted on a variety of bikes.
Also, there is a guy on Ebay selling fiberglass, gel-coated replicas of the HD TP, including a chopped TP with a spoiler, that does NOT include hinges or latches that is worth taking a look at also. If I have time I will look for it on ebay and PM you.
