Custom Built Tie Down System
I got bored and built this twin bike tie down system for my toyhauler. It is comprised of 1x1 square steel and the two Harbor Freight motorcycle wheel chocks. I have added additional floor mount tie downs(not shown) just behind the wheel wells on both sides. In these photos I have my old bike (03 VRod) and my wifes new 883 SuperLow shown. With the placement of the VRod I have 8 inches between the left handle bar and side wall of the TH and since my 2012 SG is approx. 1 1/2 inch wider, placement of the new bike in its place is no problem. Just wanted to show my late night manufacturing in my garage. If anyone has any questions and need specifics just let me know. BTW: This was built for under $100 with my labor/welding.
