I have Super Lizard lights on the engine area of my 08 SG. I think there are 6 or 8 different colors you can scroll through and different "patterns" if you want them to strobe or flash, etc. I usually leave mine on solid red. When I got them, they were less expensive than HD's single color sets. Easy to install, easily expandable, no maint and if you do a careful installation, you won't even be able to see them until they're turned on.
I put on some JoeFLorida lights. They have multi colors and flash patterns with a lifetime warranty. They are expandable and easy to install. Took me about 3 hours to prep and run all wires and hook up the power unit and remote.
I installed a set of their single color lights on my bike and they went on pretty easy and look real nice. Price is pretty comparable too. Plus you get two remotes and the lights can be programmed in different
