I picked up my 2012 FXDF FatBob last month. Went on a few rides, broke it in nicely....the wife likes it (thank god...lol).
Went for a leisurely (200+ mile) run with a few friends, Had a great time, love the bike
Now for the rant.
During the ride, a rock shattered the headlight lens. No Prob, Harley should carry a replacement.
Low and behold, Harley informs me that I have to buy a complete light assembly as the lens is not sold separately. What the !@#$#%
With the amount of trucks running the highways of Northern Alberta, I run the chance of a rock everytime I ride.
Question time.
Does anyone know of a twin headlight upgrade that provides a replaceable lens??
Thanks for the input guys.
I'm looking at adding 2 - 4.5 inch headlights from Alure and make a custom bracket to fit. Converting to a single light is not an option for me, as I love the look of the twins. When done I'll look into some 3M protective film to help eliminate the issue from re-acurring
