Hi Guys,
I'm writing from Turin, Italy.
I'm HD Electra Glide Standard 2010 owner.
I've tried to follow instructions but seems that my motorcycles don't want give data signal on PIN nr.3
Anyone have any experience on my HD model?
Regards
Faber
The data rides on pin 2 from the OBDC, which connects to pin 3 on the Harley end.
It's HarleyDROID not iHarley. I doubt Apple would ever let software like this through their stringent filtering. Google (Android) allows open-source software to go into the Play Store (Android Market.)
Here's a page that will help anyone needing cable info...
Here is a picture of the connectors on my 2014 FLHTK:
There are 2 possible connectors, both have more than 4-pin plug. My question is: which of the 2 plugs is the one to use to connect to the CAN BUS? Also, does anyone know the make/type of connector I need to use as well as the pinouts?
Finally got some time with a new 2016 HD Breakout that uses the CAN BUS system. We got a dashboard that can display the speed and one that can display the RPM. That's probably going to be the limit of what we can do for a while because of the amount of data that is being processed. Check it out:
