Take lots of water. The forecast is for low 90's and humidity around 55%. It will be hot in the Pentagon lot.

I'll be there. Wish my flight jacket still fit, that would be a great jacket to wear on the run

Well that was a good time! Only one bad thing about an air cooled engine in 90 degree heat with no air moving...it wanted to die but I pushed through it.

I went. 8th year in a row. There are 2 events that I must do in DC each year. RT and the 4th of July. Both are always hot. I'd be worried if they weren't!

I'm assuming you're talking about getting into the parking lot. THAT was the worst it's been in the 6 years I've been attending.
The actual demonstration ride itself was 7 miles and only took me 22 minutes.

We did our Combat Vets Association ride to Thunder Alley the day before and that is when we had the most trouble with heat/air movement. Mine sounded like I had an awesome cam installed and my oil pressure gauge was reading "0" even with a couple revs. It was an oh crap moment. My buddies Street Glide with the same 88 engine was in front of me and his bike shut off..he was pushed into the grassy area. After they sat in the shade we were fine. Highway speeds were no issue it was just the wait to park that killed the bikes.
