Haven't the poler ice caps been melting since the ice age? Why would we think it just going to stop? Then one day it will, and then they ill start to enlarge, grow bigger, anduh oh, no more global warming, it'll be another ice age....its called cycles people.

God's not stupid you know. He made just enough dinosaurs to make just enough oil so that we will run out RIGHT BEFORE global warming is an issue.

Jeez, give the guy some credit.

And a 1000 years ago, the vikings had settlements on Greenland because there was no ice. So what? I'm sick and tired of people that blame every little anomaly in nature on Global Freakin' Warming.

The Ice cap extended all the way below Dayton Ohio 10000 years ago and has been retreating since. Global warming has been a good thing until now?

Global warming helps us bikers to pollute LESS. Instead of driving our SUVs, pick up trucks, conversion vans, et al, we are driving our MORE Fuel Efficient, and LESS Polluting motorcycles.

I think man's contribution to global warming is as much as a swarm of flies contribution to the wind speed of a hurricane. El Ninio causes more seasonal warming than man could create intentionally in 50 years. That's my theory, right from my armchair.

as controversial as it is, so what if there is global warming. Mother earth is not going to be able to handle the population explosion forever. It might as well be global warming as anything else that ends the whole damn show !!!

Hate to tell you all, but global warming is a REAL issue...if you'd have seen pictures of how fast the Greenland ice shelf has melted over the pastfew yrs you'd know its no joke...spells disaster for numerous wildlife...spells disaster for those living in coastal areas( forget about new Orleans altogether!!)...it'll cause problems for everyone....There's still a chance now, but it'll get to the point where we CAN'T do anything anymore, but no big deal....so what if your grandkids have to deal with the mess their parents/grandparents created, right?

I think you have accepted a package of BS from the liberal crowd. Check out the ole farmers almanac for discussions about the changing seasons and global climate changes. Every generation always thinks they have invented the cause of the current climate conditions. If you live long enough your will realize that most of this scientific body of knowledge will change like the wind and swing back and forth every 25-50 years or so. Don't buy into it nobody knows what will happen in 100 years. They planet may cool off if the sun buns out and we will all freeze to death. Another ice age is a lot more possible and a much bigger threat.

Man, what a bunch of dumb azzez. Global warming is real. However, Whaap has it about right, it's the population growth that is going to destroy it all. By global warming or otherwise.
