Project Hell's Snapper
Yesterday I picked up a 1985ish Snapper for $300. It has a late model Briggs and Stratton 10.5hp (feels more like 12hp), 5 speed. Needless to say it'll pick the front tires up off the line for the majority of 5 feet. I've already put it into the fence taking a corner too quick. Rubbin's racin.

The problem with Snappers is they look too.... limp wristed. I wanted to be able to scare children and old ladies when I take this thing out into the wild. So, within 10 minutes I cut the girly bars off and started planning.

Armed with only a hand grinder, uneven tape measure, a tailgate, welder and concrete slab, I had this created in 2 hours. 1/2" black iron pipe, 10" rise, 50+ years of heritage down the drain.

I let the ol' lady out of the kitchen "office" to test it out. She was overcome by the intimidation.

With my pride restored, I put some paint on it and now I'm just waiting for my grips to show up.
