Most of these bikes are earlier version 88's. I'm curious in seeing these trouble free numbers in the 96 and 103's as a comparison.

Only having 5 good months of riding each yr for this ole Grandpa and Grandma we still average 9-10 k a yr and that is mostly daily riding.

Wished winter's up here were shorter, Buttt..

2nd summer we had the bike, I lost my Brother and Mother, didn't ride much that summer settling the estate.

Still our 07 has 37k on her and only thing/problem I've had to do was replace the gas line that got the pinhole in it last Yr and this spring I had to put in a new Battery.

Other than those two, she's been perfect and seems to be running better every Yr.

108,000 on my '00 S/E Road Glide. After a fresh set of tires before July 4th I go on another 5 state tour up the coast. Lookin' forward to it....

Wouldn't think of owning anything newer than an '02.

Back in the day when you could just look at the odometer on a parked bike, I spent some time at Americade checking bikes to see which had the high mileage.

Tour Glides seemed to have the most.

After them, FXR's seemed to be "up there", as well.

Here and there I'd see another Harley with some miles, but the above two were the ones to beat in their day...

'08 Wide Glide with 120K before leak down test was a little low (starting to use oil).

She's got 103 jugs and pistons now with 96 heads and a new set of cams.
