If you are committing to coming to the HDF rally in Gettysburg in July and would like to stay at the Eisenhower Hotel at the Event site please post here so I can get a rough count on the number of rooms to block. I will need to know probably by the end of January first week of Feruary at the latest.
The following was posted in the earlier thread about the rally:
This as a copy of an email I received from the Eisenhower Hotel which is right at the All Star complex where bike week is held. If people start letting me know that they are coming I can judge how many rooms to have blocked for HDF members. Start making your plans.
I am happy to help you. The sleeping group room rates for Gettysburg Bike
week are $120.00 plus tax for rooms in E1 and $150.00 plus tax for rooms in
E11. Eisenhower 1 sleeping rooms have either two double beds or a King and a
sleep sofa, coffee pot, outside sink, hair dryer iron and ironing board.
Eisenhower 11 have 2 queen beds plus a queen sleep sofa, coffee pot, hair
dryer, outside sink, microwave, frig iron and ironing board and are quite
large.
I hope this is helpful. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to
hearing from you.

Someone has to be first, so here it is. Confirm me for a room at the E-1. King and a sleep sofa preferred.
DGlide04,
I'm not actually confirming the rooms I just need a headcount to block a group of rooms, then you can make your reservation on your own. If you know thats the room you want you can get jump on everyone else and reserve it now.
RE: HDFourms Mid-Atlantic Rally-Committments Post Here
Sorry, kind of got ahead of myself. Let us know when there a block of rooms set aside, here or by PM is okay, and then we can call and reserve them ourselves.
BTW, thanks for taking the lead on this, the idea is great and seems to have a lot of support so far. should be a memorable time.

For those of you who are committing to coming, you may want to go ahead and contact the Eisenhower and reserve your room. There hasn't been enough interestfor me to block out a group of rooms so it looks like everyone is one there own.

I'm going to be alone. All I need is a single. If one of you guys wants to share the expenses of a a room for a couple of days give me a holler. Be forwarned, I snore -- at least that's what my kids say.
