Is the rush hour in Detroit the same as here in Chicago = 3pm to 6pm????
Since it's so close to the US, do they accept US money or frown on it?
Rush hour can be as much as 2:30 to 7:00 depending on which day your there.
U.S. dollars are fine but you can convert at "Duty Free" if you want.

Rush hour in Detroit is NOT as bad as Chicago. I've been through both (on a bike) several times. Chicago was HELL.
Rally is JULY 26,27,28.
