Although he's joking, i think he's right. Your job was well done, though. Another thing, inverted mirrors don't look right on any bike. You'r bike is new, awesome, and expensive. Although the bike should be unique to you, I prefer the mirrors to stay upright the way they are intended to be. Then again, i've done things on my bike that other people feel strongly against. Have fun customizing your ride!
I feel the opposite of Pagman, I like the "under" mirrors. I plan to try it with my FXDF and see if there is enough clearance. For me it's about being able to see behind me and the right mirror on my bike shows me a clear picture of my shoulder or right arm, and little else.
Also, I'm not a fan of plastidiping everything but you haven't gone too far, I plan to do my mirrors if the local Lowes ever has the stuff in stock.
