Sound like you've tried it yourself. Just to ask the question discretely, were you RED or BLUE?
Is it just me or does it seem like the IQ and maturity level in this place has been on a steady decline lately? How does this even remotely sound like I've tried that myself? The fact that you would read something like that into my post says a lot about your own psyche, my Friend.

Hi, fellas.

Thanks for the suggestions about seats. I went down to the dealer today and they let me demo any seat I wanted. I chose the Signature Series with the backrest. They had a setup where you could sit on various seats mounted to the bike.

I rode for about an hour today getting familiar with the bike and the seat. It is night and day compared to the stock seat. I am not inclinded to slouch and I don't slide when briskly accelerating. The backrest also is comfortable. I think the seat lends itself to a good upright posture and it is very comfortable.

The only negative thing I noticed is that the front of the seat is pretty narrow. This has a positive as it allows me to more easily put my feet down flat and hip-width apart when stopped. On the stock seat, I was a bit bow-legged. However, my legs get really close to all of the hardware and engine compartments and it gets quite hotter than with the stock seat. Probably nothing I can do about that. It is not enough to make me not like the deat. And after trying it, I know I want a seat with a backrest.

I am going to call the dealer tomorrow and tell them to order it. I knew right away it was good.
