That was very, very nice of you to help those folks out, where were you when I broke down.
I broke down on my sporty over the summer and I was lucky that my boyfriend happened to leave our house that morning right after me cause if he hadn't I would have been SOL. Not one single person stopped to help me. They didn't even stop to help when they saw my boyfriend pushing me on my bike back home. That was fun. About a mile back to our house pushing me on my bike. Poor guy. Anyway, I will stop everytime I see a stranded biker even though I am a female. I know I hated being stuck there and I would hate to leave someone else stuck.
Thanks. Please carry mace or pack when you stop for someone. You never know what you're up against when you stop.
I've pushed my own bike for a couple of miles to to the next exit on the interstate because my belt shredded. That happened at 10pm and I couldn't go get my bike until the next day 'cause I couldn't hold of a trailer. No one stopped to help me. It sucks.
I'm glad to hear you stop, but please be careful and protect yourself.
Karma is a very good thing. I'm glad those folks were ok and that you stopped and offered your assistance. Being broke down on the side of the road is ugly.
good story.it doesn't matter what kind of bike we ride as long as it has 2 wheels.i was out for a cruise the other day on my HD when i came to an intersection and noticed somebody on the opposite side of the road in the ditch.he was making a left hand turn and hit some loose gravel and had slide into the ditch.cars were passing by and no one was stopping to see if he was hurt.i turned around and asked if he was ok and luckily he wasn't hurt.i helped him put his vulcan back on its wheels and helped him get it running again.in the meantime a local sheriff rode by and saw what was going on and didn't even stop!to protect an serve(yea right) we as bikers have to look after each other because nobody else will.
