if I hadnt married matha fckin stewart I would have joined my local club by now. **** scratch that marthas been to prison. shes cooler then my wife. clubs are great if you find one thats the right match for you. but what the hell kinda guy worries if his buddies makin the right life choices? you should be trying to trick him into makin the wrong choice, thats what friends are for.
It seems to me that membership in a motorcycle club might satisfy a number of needs. High up on the list is the need most of us have for sharing true camaraderie with other men. You don't really get that in this world, certainly not from family ('family' is a different kind of love), not from co-workers (unless it's the type of job where your azz is on the line and you truly count on each other to have each other's backs).
The trade-off could be, for a family-guy, it would probably take him away from that commitment and might cause friction with the wife (or girlfriend).
As far as going down the right path...who can say? It's his path to choose, and could potentially be a good thing for him.
