Here you go,
I quickly made a screen capture of the process.
simple as copy and paste in advanced mode.
Be wary though,the reason thumbnails are used is to reduce the file size load time on ppls computers and also the fact that overly large images tend to be annoying.

Vince, I did this exactly but when I right click to paste the picture that I already copied into the advanced mode post, the paste option is light and not available to click on as opposed to a dark viable option. CNTRL-V does not work either. Maybe the picture I am trying to past is too big and the HD forum is killing my option to paset it. I dunno !!! ????

Nope. Took the image quality from 97MB to 37KB and although I got the "paste" option highlited when I right clicked here, there is still no picture here.

Bb code seams to react differently using different browsers .
Try using img code in advanced.
My iPhone using safari seems to require this.
Are you trying to copy right off your computer and then paste here ?
That won't work Because the board and your computer don't exist in local directories
Ahhh ,,,,yep ,,,you can't copy/paste to a remote directory from your computer !
