PS: In fact I've got a pair of Chippewa Riding Boots on order as I type this... They're on back-order into the first week of Feb, so I'manxiously awaiting them! Chippewa boots areBY FAR the very finest boots I've ever seen at any price.
Do other's find Chippewa's to be among the "best" or have I missed some fine boots from other places? I'm always open to hear of something new...
YeaI also wear my work/riding boots or hiking boots all the time also. I don't own a pair of sneakers andI have 1 pair of dress shoesI might wear 1 time a year.
Does riding barefoot count? I'm so poor, I can't affordshoes, or boots for that matter. I also have to walk uphill, in the snow, to and fromwork, just so I can eat a few beans a couple of timesa week. Just kidding. Wear boots about 95% of the time, and neverwear shorts while riding.
Boots. Sneakers or anyhting that doesn't at least cover the ankle is not safe. "Back in the day", I had sneaks on and had to lay my bike down. When I got up, I couldn't walk right. I looked down, and the sneak was flopping around ... it had ground down on the asphalt all the way down to my foot. Had I slid any further, my skin was next. I'm only talking 50 or 60 feet of sliding here. Was just dumb luck my ankle didn't get it.
i always wear boots riding or work but always boots it's a safety thing for me!
i never wear underwear though it's a personal comfort thing!
and i always wear a watch!! just because! anything else?
