I love them street glides myself If I ever switched bikes ,it would be for one of them , forthe style of rindin your talking , I'd say check out the street glide or fatboy
first, thanks to each of you for the reply. i guess may i should rethink all reasons for each. yeah, don't really need a bagger, don't need to keep up with anybody, just kinda though it might be where i would end up anyway. they do have some demo bikes at dealer (street glide),i just never considered that. yes,i do throw away good money, not on purpose, but this will be my 4th H-D. thinkin the Fatboy or maybe the Deluxe will be as much or more than i need.thanks again. jm
..... anyway,i really like the FATBOY,but others tell me at my age (55) a Road King would be the choice ......
[sm=WTFsgign.gif]happens at 55 that prevents anyonehaving a Fatboy? Does this malady apply to all softails? I ask because I turn 55 in a few months and want to know what signs to look out for ..... [sm=boohoo.gif]
IMO.....
I'm 57yo and do a lot of traveling with my bike.
I like the RKC because of the windshield AND cruise control.
Get what YOU want.
Good Luck,
Stogie
Hi there, Ride em only way to find out. As it happens I have a Fatboy and a RKC (am 53) love them both no probs doing distance on FB but see Lindby bars and forward pegs on both. I can carry more luggage on the RKC though! You dont say how tall you are, I am 6ft3 and found theRK Custom uncomfortable and way to small for me. You got to ride to find out!
